These General Terms of Sales apply to all bookings made with the hotel Les Lanchers, located at 1459 Route des Praz, 74400 Chamonix, France. The Customer expressly acknowledges that prior to making any booking he or she has fully read and understood these Terms and unreservedly accepts them.

RATES

Rates are provided in €uro and all taxes included, The price includes the VAT applicable on the date of booking and any increase in the applicable VAT rate will automatically be added to the prices indicated at time of booking. The prices shown are to be understood per room for the number of person(s) and date(s) selected. Unless otherwise specified, additional services like breakfast are not included in the price. Tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is not included in the room rate and must be paid directly at the hotel unless prepaid online or is included.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

The booking is considered completed once the booking form or booking request has been received by our hotel, and the customer has provided a valid credit card number or a deposit (depending on the offer booked) and after written confirmation send by the hotel. The hotel reserves the right the refuse a booking if the credit card is not valid, or the booking incomplete. The payment will be done directly at the hotel (except for prepaid reservation), in the local currency only. The hotel accepts payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Amex), bank transfers or cash. At the moment of the booking, depending on the offer booked, deposits might be charged.

CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION

All modification or cancellation request (that are not in delay mentioned in the cancelation policy) must be written at: booking@lanchers.com. The customer can also reach the hotel by phone if needed: +33 4 50 53 47 19. The request will only be effective when the hotel confirms agreement in writing. Should the Customer cut their stay short, the full agreed price shall be payable and retained. If the booking has been prepaid, no refund will be given if the Customer cuts his or her stay short.

Cancellation Policy: Please check your confirmation email at the moment of the booking. In accordance with Article L. 121-21-8 12 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer does not enjoy the cancellation rights provided in Article L. 121-21 of the French Consumer Code.

THE HOTEL

RESTAURANT

BREAKFAST: (7h30 – 9h30) Adult rate: 12€ / Child rate (3-10 yo): 8€
Our continental breakfast buffet is composed of hot drinks, apple and orange juice, different types of ham and cheese, eggs to cook yourself in a boiler, cottage cheese, fruit salad , fruits, cereals, butter, jams, bread, croissants and pastries.

HALF BOARD: Adult rate: 35€ / Child rate (3-10 yo): 20€
Our half-board includes our breakfast buffet and a 3-course dinner suggested by our chef. Our restaurant that is located inside the hotel, offers a modern European cuisine with fresh and homemade food every day. Our chef adapts to all different food allergies with a notice upon your arrival.

PARKING

There is a free public car park right outside of the hotel (we cannot guarantee the availability of spaces), as well as the local train station and a bus stop for public transportation to get around the valley with the guest card we will propose you upon arrival. The hotel offers 2 outdoor parking slots and 1 outdoor slot for a handicap car that are available to booking in advance upon request before arrival for 10 euros per day.

SAUNA

In our facilities you can enjoy the heat and relax in our Sauna after a big day at the mountains. Our sauna has a capacity of 4 people and it is available for 45 minutes and 15 euros per sauna, upon request and with booking in advance at the reception. Bathrobes and towels are provided.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

We offer a laundry service everyday available upon request. Service rate 15 euros for 5kg of clothes wash and dry. We do not offer iron service.

PETS

We are pet friendly. An additional charge of 7.50€ per pet and per day will be charged.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT

All rooms and apartments are available from 3 pm and check out must be done by 11 am at the latest. If the check-out is not done by 11 am and without prior 24-hour authorization from the reception, an additional night will be charged to your final balance. An authorized late check out by the reception 24 hours in advance is 20€ per person with a limit of 2 pm to check out from the room/apartment. Rooms are available for check-in from 3 pm, and must be vacated by 11pm on the day of the departure. Failure to do so may incur the charge for an additional night. A 3€ fee will be invoiced on your room account as a guarantee for each key card of the room that we will provide. Upon check out, when the card key is returned, this amount will be cancelled.

The hotel is entirely NON-SMOKING (in accordance with French law), including e-cigarets, juuls and chichas, including balconies or terraces. Special smoking spaces have been established at the exits outside the hotel and the restaurant and bar, please ask the reception the exact location.

DATA PRIVACY

Under the French Data Privacy Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) of 6 January 1978, you have the right at any time to see, correct and challenge any information about you, by writing a letter or email, including proof of identity, to our Company at the following address: booking@lanchers.com

Our hotel provides WIFI access, so customers are able to connect to the internet. The Customer shall ensure that none of the digital resources provided by the Hotel are used, in any way, for the purposes of reproduction or representation, and that none of the materials protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical and audio-visual works, software and video games are made available or communicated to the public without authorization from the copyright holders, as stated in books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, where such authorization is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The hotel declines responsibility in case of theft, loss or damage of the customer’s property during the stay. The customer will be held responsible for any damage and/or vandalism to the hotel’s property incurring during the stay.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints can be brought to our attention directly at the front desk. Without a satisfactory answer after 60 days, the customer may call for the arbitrator of tourism and travel, whose contact information and conditions are on the following website: https://www.mtv.travel

DETERIORATION AND BREAKAGE

In case of breakage and/or degradation ascertainment after your departure, the amount for the replacement and/or maintenance will be charged against your credit card. If you see any problems once you arrive in your room, please inform the reception as soon as possible to avoid conflict.

APPLICABLE LAW

These General Terms of Sale are governed by French law without removing any protective rights applicable in the Customer’s country of residence.
